Every we hold a photography contest and accept potential submissions for the next year’s calendar. You do not have to be a professional or a resident of the Republic of Panama. Professionals are welcome to submit photos, as well as amateurs and tourists to our colorful little country. We’ve even had many beautiful photos chosen that were shot with a cell phone!
An independent panel of judges, which varies each year, are asked to pick their favorites. Points (votes) are added up and the final photos are placed in a monthly order based on variety and somewhat by season.
